Seems like misunderstanding caused by wrong expectations.
thank you for being open-minded and listening to both sides of the story. pier one is doing their best to host a great party for all their paying customers.

even if the epson event had misunderstandings involved (due to their non-payment at the end), their christmas party itself was a great event. the president and most employees enjoyed their christmas party. there was a great band playing that night (sound groove) and most of the epson employees were standing up and dancing, having fun and enjoying the party, and even getting drunk. that was a friday and there were 600 customers in the restaurant that night enjoying the music from the sound groove band through the speakers. they hire only the best bands to play at pier one. the epson people had the aircon area exclusive to themselves, so they really enjoyed the night.

the contract is a protection for the restaurant and the customer so that there will be no misunderstandings. that's why the contract is very important for pier one. the restaurant will follow to the letter what is written in the contract, nothing more and nothing less. that's why the organizers of the event have to be specific in what they want, so that the event goes according to their expectations. pier one does not have verbal contracts, only written contracts. i really agree with you on that, the organizers can really make or break the event.

Haller mag megaphone ka sa restaurant how funny... minus one system hahaha ngano mag minus one man gud tawn para unsa mana maka solve bana sa problem

i know other restaurant lets you pay 50% downpayment pero the company already paid 100% for the event except the excess on the day of the event aint that enough to give them chance for an exception? 100% for a party is lot of money you know and 9k is less than 5% of the total amount.

instrument thingy i guess the people who is borrowing knows a lot about those instrumeny since they know the description like the drum set darthevan i think specified in the earlier post. they should know how to avoid damages if they use it since destroying them would mean they pay way higher than the normal price of the instruments.

    @sol
hey why you think your such a goodie. was just kidding about that stuff what manager would be stupid enough to ask every costumer if he is cheaptech? even he can be serve to full satisfaction business is business and no people can be decline unless there are terms that are no available on the customers request. but you got one thing right though(about the writing down) but just dont repeat your point you have been posting it too many times in this thread.

AS said already.... IT WAS DIFFICULT ENOUGH to collect payment from them after the EVENT... how much more if the INSTRUMENTS WERE DAMAGED.....

Again there are limits to customer satisfaction....

@Cheaptech, Teeblala was already explaining that the payment referred to here in the first place is the "excess" payment. and megaphone? Minus one? This problem wouldn't have occurred if they had the place exclusive to themselves. And for one more thing, I read sa previous posts that the boss of the company was Japanese, and now you say:

Use instruments it was hard enough to let them pay for what they consumed.... ALL THE MORE if the instruments get damaged.... simple common sense.....

They did not have a hard time paying for what they consumed. A previous post even mentioned 9K+ was for the champagne. Who would spend that much for champagne? Of course someone who could afford. I don't think the Amp can get busted by being plugged in to another guitar, and if does get busted, I bet they can easily replace it. Let's just face it, Pier One has poor customer service, I just don't understand why you can't accept that. I myself experienced Pier One IT park. Badddd service.
    READ AGAIN AND AGAIN...

They WERE STARTING TO LEAVE WITHOUT PAYING.... isn't that self explanatory?

If the manager was not wise enough THEY WOULD HAVE LEFT ALREADY....

So will you let them use the instruments?? THAT WOULD BE SILLY....

EPSON diay ni?? AT LEAST MORE RESTOBARS will KNOW THE EAT AND RUN STYLE OF EPSON people... KAUBO gyud.... KAMPAI gyud...

In fairness its only the workers of EPSON.... I think I STILL RESPECT THE BRAND a lot....

Maybe you should read... Haven't it occured to you that they were leaving coz they had no idea that your manager was such a sleazy weasel that had no word of honor so di nila akala na babayad sila coz they had an agreement. And in fairness, I've lost respect so much of Pier One coz of your senseless posts

wla man ka matum-ngi gud that's why it's so easy for you to say those comments you said.

in a business, it's not money alone that counts, it goes hand in hand with service.
profit is directly proportional to service. if you want more profit then increase your service.

any business should understand there customers' needs!!!
    AGAIN read what I SAID....

THERE IS NO MANAGER that is stupid enough not to deliver customer satisfaction.... BUT THERE ARE LIMITS!!!

LABI na daganan ka... WALAY BAYAD..... YES THEY PAID in the END... only after facing the threat of arrest... which ultimately IS THE ROOT CAUSE of this POST by the TREAD STARTER........

CLEARLY the motive of the AUTHOR was VENGEANCE... but I already knew that from the start...

    FInally...

I wouldn't TRUST a BAND INSTRUMENT to a DRUNK customer.... not in any GIVEN DAY!!!!!

Well basi naa to siyay gipa impress nga chicks... nya naulawan kay wala ka gamit....

    you can't please them all.....

It was a GOOD CALL not to let them use the instrument....

because for SURE EPSON won't pay for the liabilities.... only the drunk low self esteem guy would bear it all....
