The holiday season is a time to share blessings. This Christmas, Landers Superstore has partnered with The Negrense Volunteers for Change (NVC) Foundation to make holidays super for undernourished kids.
The NVC Foundation is a Bacolod-based non-stock, non-profit organization with a mission to fight hunger and poverty by providing proper nutrition to underprivileged children as well as sustainable livelihood opportunities to their families.
NVC’s biggest project to date is the Mingo Nutrition Program, which aims to help children from impoverished families build strong bodies and sharp minds. Mingo is a nutritious, instant, complementary food made of rice, mongo (mung beans), and malunggay (moringga). NVC has already served 9,013,076 Mingo Meals as of September 2019 and targets 10,000,000 meals by January 2020.
To help the NVC Foundation achieve their goal, Landers Superstore will donate P5 for every eco-bag purchased in-store from November 6 to December 31, 2019 to the Negrense Volunteers for Change Foundation in support of the 10 Million Mingo Meals Nutrition Program.
