    I also have that problem with my DLink DI-704 (bought way back 2002 or 2003). Ok bya iya performance for 6 months, then after that cge nako problem sa internet speed. Limited connectivity sya.

    Im just using it as a plain switch/hub nalang.

    what do u mean limiting the connection? meaning ang bandwidth imo e limit towards a certain station? if yes, u can use a program that would limit the bandwidth, u can download, there are lots of them. one is netmonitor.

    check una config sa imo router... or either imong connection naa problem...

    Example :

    naa ka 100mbit connection through your router... depende sa config it can be shared evenly or limit the connectivity.. depends to you...

    hallu guys, I know old na ni na thread but diri nalng ko mo post cause mao2x ra man gud ang problema..

    I just want to limit the connection coming through this one computer to a specific speed...

    I've already tried most software ,maybe I'm not configuring it right or it's just not working..

    and the QoS is crap.. bisan sa.on pag set.. di gahapon mo work..

    if i'm not mistaken mo the set up for these kind of software is

    modem->computer1->router->other computers
    or
    modem->router#1->computer1->router->other computers
