HLP: Cannot connect 2 pc using cross-over utp?

Dudes naka encounter namo ani nga problem? I cannot connect 2 pc directly using a cross-over cable attached to built-in lan. I already tested the cable using PCI lan cards and it worked. Just wondering ngano ni.... Dili man sad daot ang built-in lan kay maka connect raman using straight-thru cable.

first make sure that when you connect it between the two comps, the NIC's of the computers are lit up.

BTW check and double check ur settings.

try to chk if cge jud blink and usa ka LAN Card sa duha ka computer.. (the computer which you suspect has the BAD NIC. if cge jud blink (fast blink) even if youre not doing network transmissions. then your NIC is 50/50... basta mag-cge blink even naa paka sa POST. guba na.

Bro I think its your NIC card that cause the problem... Murag guba na ang isa ka NIC card sa imong pc's bro... Just check ang make sure kung makaconnect silang duha using a straight thru...
