    Default HELP! Limited Connectivity problem!


    tabang! nag problema jud ko aning limited connectivity nga issue! ani ang structure sa akong connection:


    modem ---> router -----> 4 PCs = no problem with the connection

    modem ---> switch -----> 4 PCs = Limited Connectivity


    unsay blema ani? tabang tawn mga master!

    More details, ISP and what's your modem.

    If PLDT ka tapos Zyxel imong modem, you need to switch it to Routing mode para siya na mo assign ug mga IPs sa naka network sa imong Switch.

    globe broadband ako ISP then ang modem kay sa ilaha nah man to! sila nah nag provide!

    mag-router nalang diay ka bro? wala man kaha na problema?

    you need to switch your modem to Routing mode. if its in Bridge mode, you need a dialer to pick up connection and share it (this is what routers do).

    but if you can reconfigure that modem to routing mode and enable DHCP, without mistakes then you are good to go... failure to the right stuff may cause your modem not to connect again even if you place a router agen through it. and this will require you to ask assistance from globe techs to restore its original settings.

    the primary cause of limited connectivity is due because there are no DHCP servers on your network, nothing to give each computer their own IP address.

    salamat kau sa inyong tabang mga bro! 7 man gud ka pc ang tauran nako ug internet nya 4 rah man ang slot available sa router! ang akong gi-himo mga bro kay modem ---> router ----> switch! it works just fine rah man! salamat jud kau!
