    Default HELP: VOIP connection problem

mga guru's i need help w/ regards on how to connect properly my PLDT modem (dont know the model pero naa sya 4 ports as router) to my VONAGE phone adapter (VOIP).here's the problem; i cant use both at the same time.... kng i disconnect nko ang internet sa PC, mka gamit ko sa akng VOIP but kng kinahanglan nko mag internet sa PC dapat i off nko ang VOIP nko. ni call nko sa customer service sa vonage and they said nga ang ISP nag provide ra ug usa ka IP address thats why daw kng knsa mka una ug gamit mao ra ang naay IP address.question lng nko, is it true nga usa ra ang IP address jud i hatag sa PLDT modem? 2nd question if its true unsa man buhaton nko nga ma gamit nko both at the same time (internet and ang VOIP nko)?

Either you need to reconfigure your PLDT modem to "router mode" or get yourself a router. Reconfiguring the modem can be tricky... getting a router is much more convenient.

PLDT will never enable router mode on their modems as they "try" to discourage users from sharing the connection. If IP allocation is your problem, then a router is your solution. If you need help setting it up there are people in these forums who can offer their services (me included) if you can't figure things out on your own.
