if mamalik tanan ofw's and the government will prepare a good program for them if sure this will bring a rise to a new strong philippines. and im sure there are some filipinos outside the country because of will be willingly to invest there extra money to bing more employments rather than unemployment. dont be negative about our citizen coming back to there country and will be faced with unemplyment. if our government will be just honest and provide a good program for our ofw's. things will be just better off compare to all our pressionals going out of the country and will be slave to work for a foreigners. and other point who would want to be far away from there family..

south korea is the poorest country in asia before why did korea became a rich country?... because of the love of the country....

start loving your country man, its not hard to love your country...

Loving our country doesn't require much. Voting a very competent and deserving candidate will do. So far, 12 million plus Filipinos didn't do that. So there it goes, either these 12 million really don't care at all or are simply stupid enough to pick somebody who hasn't even proven himself in small things.

When we talk about patriotism, we immediately think about dying for the country or doing extraordinary things. Our very small ways can make an impact. Sometimes we just have to use our heads even in the simplest of things to make a big change.

Gibo? Gordon? Villar? Of all candidates, why Noynoy? The yellow army are either blind or simply didn't care at all.

The president will represent the Philippines thus we need somebody competent and reputable, not somebody who lives on hype and worse, relying on the accomplishments of his parents. How will the Philippines earn a good reputation when the president himself doesn't show one?

For this thread's sake, Marcos vs Noynoy? This should never be an issue because Marcos' worse is ten times better than Noynoy's best.

i didn't vote for noynoy but because he won as president i have to respect that. i have to do my part as a good citizen, the very least i could do to help my country.

for those who seem to hail marcos, i just hope you were born that time. and we'll see what's your comments. yes, we were number 2 in asia as marcos came as president. but during and after the martial law, how were we? there were those who benefited also during marcos time, the ilocos regions, ilocanos in general, and the cronies themselves.

my family worked with one of the cronies before (one of the rolex 12). we were the privileged mamals at that time. militaries and the like seemed to kiss our asses. but i'd also seen the other side of town. i vividly knew what happened that time.

i guess some of us easily forget our history, the true history! verify your facts.
