In our company, all our desktops are HP(using intel boards) ranging from the old D530 models to the latest HP 8100 Elite SFF and CMT models. These computers usually last just 3 to 5 years, although some D530's (Pentium 4 1.still survives until today. The intel boards are still not that durable. Bloated capacitors, defective chipsets, they die within 3 years.
There was also a time that 18 out of 36 new units (HP dx2810, Intel G45 board) were defective just 2 months after delivery, and guest what, bloated/leaking capacitors.
Virtual Machine. Just fond of exploring other os' lang jud. Maybe you could enlighten me?
AFAIK, the virtualization feature is processor based, and is not in the motherboard.
I think if mo support imung processor ug virtualization tapos imung motherboard kay dili, dili ra guro magamit. Correct me if I'm wrong lang.
Nope virtualization is a processor feature.
Okay thanks sa input. Will be asking here soon kay planning to build a vm box nga dili intel boards.
when u say virtualization, broad man gud na. Are you talking like PCoIP?
Although you need strong hardware to make full use of vitualization, it's usually software/protocol based.
