Cebu celebrates Business Month

Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), through Cebu Business Month (CBM), continues to celebrate the achievements and leadership roles that Cebu’s business owners play in enterprise development, socio-economic prosperity, and nation-building.


Last June 1, the CBM kicked off its month-long activities with a grand opening salvo at the Ayala Terraces. Now on its 21st year, CBM is a testament to CCCI’s steadfast commitment in engaging businesses in programs that will create new investments, jobs, and promote sustainability.


CBM stays true to its goal of inspiring and growing Cebu’s businesses by organizing activities that will benefit areas of tourism, information and communication, entrepreneurship, and creative industries.

These activities will help connect businesses of diverse industries and cultivate relationships. This will also allow start-ups to have access to guidance from industry experts.


On June 27, there will be a Digital Marketing Competition with a goal to promote Cebu’s Best. Students from different universities will develop a promotional campaign for different LGUs. This competition will not only provide students with learning but the LGUs will have a take away from the students as well. The competition is open to all business administration students of universities and colleges in Cebu.

The culminating of the month-long activities of Cebu Business Month will be on June 30. Business leaders from various industries and sectors will converge during this event to support the growth and development of Cebu.
