PLDT continues to redefine customer experience nationwide with innovations that will make the consumer journey worthwhile. Coming from the recent launches of the experiential flagship stores in Luzon, PLDT now makes bill payment more convenient for Cebu-based subscribers with the introduction of Pay Express Van.
The PLDT Pay Express Van is a mobile truck that serves an an extension of the payment center of the PLDT Sales and Services Centers (SSCs). It is manned by four fast and friendly cashiers using the same cashiering system found inside the SSCs. This setup practically triples the number of receiving cashiers on peak days. This means shorter queues and faster processing of payments resulting to a more convenient and better customer experience.
"The regular problem that a PLDT Cebu customer faces each time he pays in the PLDT SSCs is the long queue of subscribers similarly rushing to pay on their bill due date. This experience is true whether in PLDT Jones, Mabolo, Mandaue, Mactan or Talisay. Bills payment will now be a fast and convenient experience for our customer through this simple but invaluable service," said PLDT VP and Head of Credit and Collection Management Group Jonel Ladaban.
PLDT Home, Alpha and SME customers can also make their payments in the PLDT Pay Express Van. This will be stationed in the five Cebu SSCs at different days of the month, close to the due date periods of each area. The Pay Express Van will be staying for three to five days in each area and will be open to accept payments from 9am to 4pm.
This project is a joint initiative between PLDT and Customer Frontline Solutions (CFS), a subsidiary of Meralco and BayadCenter.
Ladaban added, "The PLDT Pay Express Van is part of our commitment to provide reliable and holistic customer service that is attuned with the needs of our subscribers."
