This means customers on an internet promo and plan who exceed 1 GB a day or 3 GB per month (whichever comes first) will experience browsing at 2G speeds. source:

Dear istoryans, if you're planning to sign up for a postpaid data plan with globe.
DON'T!
First of all, their technical support specialist are rude as hell; they will not tell you frankly that they can't fix your account, they try to make you drop the call with a trouble shooting they will give you, put you on hold for so long that you'll just drop the call, or talk you into circles which leads to endless conversation because they think you're dumb.
Second, as a medium-heavy data user since i'm always out, globe's 3g data has been already unreliable for the past few months and just made my data plan useless because i only get to use it for 3 days in a month with a 1gb bandwidth limit on those days. This means I wont be having any data for the rest of the remaining 27 days of the month that I paid for.
Globe's 3g is already slow and globe's network automatically limit your account to 2g speed when you reach the bandwidth.
Globe's 2g speed limit has barely data on it. Most of the time, their 2g speed limit can't even load a simple page on a browser. This is the portion where you would rather not go online due to frustrating results.
Third, internet providers are supposed to offer subscribers with either fast data plans with bandwidth or unlimited data plans with fast but slower connection. NOT surprise subscribers with a data plan they didn't signed up for.
Finally, I didn't even bother getting a new phone along with the data plan when i signed up for the contract about a year ago and yet, their billing still wants me to pay their termination fee with this valid reason.
In conclusion, this is an unfair use policy since I didn't sign up for a 3 days a month data plan with a bandwidth, SO SHOULDN'T YOU!
