AMD's Cool and Quiet Functions

Jud Morning Senseis,

I have a questions regarding AMDs Cool and Quiet, it attracts my attention all the times when mg.Idle akong PC mo-shutdown ang tanan FANS including ang air-cooler sa akong CPU. There is 1 time nga ng.Download ko not knowing nga off ang mga fans ug ang cooler. Now my favorite questions is ng.dagan ba gihapon akong g.download sa net?Bisag naka rest akong unit? Enlight me Senseis.

mao nay function sa AMD cool and quite, if idle ra imo system nya d kaau init ang flow sa imo pc, then mo auto png na ang fans labi na if naka pwm na fans...hasta ang imo cooler.

apil imo case fans mu shut down? afaik ang cool and quiet sa cpu fan ra na siya

Dont know that guys nga ma shotdown d.i. ang mga fans whenever nka idle ang system. Afaik it automatically downclcok your cpu and lower the fan speed to save energy and for quite computing..

amd cool n quiet, detects system load.

during system idle, it downclocks your CPU to an acceptable speed your system basically needs, it downclocks FSB - downclocks cpu, ram, nortbridges link and etc. result of also of conserving energy. in some instance, turns of system attached fan, and cpu cooler (take note PWM controlled),,when it detects very safe margin of temperature inside your case. this purpose to conserve just another power consumption...

now putting your monitor into idle mode is your OS' decision based on the timed out set on your system's power option... aside from that, shutting down of any harddisk idled for a specified time is also spin downed and hibernated. shutting down of GPU is also managed by the OS.

d man ni cool n quite na feature, murag ni "standby" man ni imo PC... cool'n'quite only affects cpu wherein if d needed ang cpu processing, mu lower down iya multiplier.

@ TSpareho ta bro.. i f mu idle ako pc mu off tanan asta fans sa case nya if ako ng lihokon ang mouse or press ug key sa keyboard mu balik rasad ug andar tanan.. dli lng amd akong setup intel lng..

murag d na cool n quite oi... standby na... cool n quite never turns your fan off especially CPU fan... it will only downclock and undervolts the vcore... in turn mo hinay ang tuyok sa CPU fan labi nag dili loaded ang CPU...

AFAIK, walay computer system nga naay HSF fan nga designed mo totally shut off or else the CPU will most likely be fried...
