How do u enable Cool n Quiet?

How do u enable the cool n quiet feature of an amd processor? I have already downloaded the processor driver and installed the chipset driver. Specs: Athlon 64 3000+, Gigabyte K8NS mobo

-Enable Cool n Quiet on the BIOS (if available)
-then open Power Options under Control Panel. Under Power Schemes, choose Cool n Quiet on the drop down list. If that scheme isn't found, choose Minimal Power Management instead

I tried this already...I cannot find anything regarding "c n q" in the BIOS.

It's ok if you can't find a CNQ switch on the BIOS. Make sure lang ACPI 2.0 is enabled on the BIOS.

Enable CNQ in bios.
Install AMD CNQ driver
Choose Minimal Power Management in Power Options

go to bios advance/cpu configuration/cool and quiet

make sure you know the consequence of enabling that option... it can lower the speed of you cpu cooler... lower the processor speed at minimal pc functions.

hmm basin ang bios dili mo support sa CnQ function, ok kaayo ang CnQ uy coz it will lower the fan speed,CPU speed kung nag surf,windows lang ka, pero sa games or apps that need full processing power mo adjust ra siya

it saves me dako sa electric bill gyud
