    sorry to hear about the loss.

    @topic - it is vital and necessary to be updated on your dogs' vaccinations.
    - avoid letting your unvaccinated pups roam around the floor;
    - let them loose only after they have completed ALL their vaccinations (3 sessions)
    - if you have askals around your place or subd., make sure to regularly disinfect your place
    to prevent the virus from penetrating your kennel;
    - KEEP YOUR DOGS' VACCINATIONS UPDATED.
    - avoid joining dog walks esp. if your dog's vaccs is not updated or about to lapse;

    so far, mao pa lang ni ako nahuna-hunaan... ill post more later.

    iron..correct me if i am wrong..that regular exercise and a good choice of supplement can also help in preventing this...proper hydration and disinfection of the kennel also can help..plus the updated vaccinations can prevent and lessen the disease..

    @skye Parvo is a VIRUS, vaccination is the most logical preventive measure against it. yes, you exercise regularly your dog, give him good supplements, but if his vaccination is not updated, and he happens to catch the virus, balewala ng tanan nimung exercise ug supplement bay. takdan gyud ng Parvo imu dog if dili vaccinated.

    maybe supplements and exercise can help boost her/his immune system to fight off parvo pero vaccination jud ang pinakaeffective. although its not even an assurance na makaprotect jud 100%, but thats the best defense you can possibly have.
