Default Mactan Airport NOT Helping in the Fight Against Cliamte Change?!?

Every time I go to the airport, whether it is to catch a flight or pick up someone who is arriving from somewhere, it really pains me to see the long line of cars double/triple parked in the side, waiting for their guests to arrive! I'm sure you all know what I am talking about (if you have gone to the airport to fetch someone, that is). There is NO place for these people to wait and PARK their cars. Instead, these cars are waiting, engines ON. Wasting Gasoline AND POLLUTING THE ENVIRONMENT!!! There must be something we can do about this! The question is WHAT and WHEN?!

Can you imagine how much gas is wasted, how much carbon emission is happening as people wait for their guests to arrive, EVERY SINGLE DAY, EVERY SINGLE FLIGHT!?!?!

Lets share our thoughts about this....

i am aware that naay parking and i believe that i would save more by paying the 20, shutting of my car and not polluting the environment. so NO, its not because dili ku mo-bayad. i am talking about other people nga makitan naku inig agi nako. i think sad that the parking is not big enough to accommodate all. and i think the better question is also why they allow the cars to stand by in that area and not force them to park, if in fact the parking lot is enough??

oh... you should see Ninoy's airport in Manila. what you experienced in Cebu is nothing compare to Manila.

to be honest with you, there's just nothing you and i can do unless you speak to the right people.

yes yes yes you can vent your beef here. but like i said there's nothing much you and i can do.

the statement in red signifies that you never even went inside that parking lot..... you should see the space there....

maayo gani wala ta pugsa ug pa-park sa 20 pesos.... which used to be free before....until some corporate pricks (metro parking) made money out of it.....

like the guy upstairs said, wa ka mahimo unless you're one of the security people in mciaa...
