Format Problem C turn into D

does anyone out there encounter a formatting problem?

In my situation when I start to format my HD Sata through DOS, My Drive C turns into D and My D turns into C.

Anyone knows how to solve this situation?

One option is to format all drive but I have all my important files from the other drive and I can't backup the files because it's too large.

When I first format my HD Sata before, it was like this situation and what I did is deleting all partition and start from the beginning. and right now it's happening again.

Change drive letter and path... ryt click lang sa My Computer nmo nya click manage... Choose disk management, nya sa ryt side choose the drive you want to change drive letter nya ryt click and click "Change Drive Letter and path"

All you gonna do is change the drive letter. Ok follow the steps below as your guide. I assume that you already reformatted and installed the Operating System to your hard disk and you have one CD-ROM drive. The C: drive is where your files located and D: drive is where the Operating System located and the E: drive is your CD-ROM.

Follow below:
1. Change C: to F:
2. Change D: to C:
3. Change F: to D:
4. Done
