Let the country takes it's course and have them fix their own issues and problems. Whether or whoever or whatever negatives it causes or benefits. You live here but it's a foreign way that isn't how things work here. They want to be America but this place operates as Pilipinas operates.

You cant practice politics the way in the US the same you do here. Or go about implementing it the same way.

You forget this country has no Bill of Rights or Equal Rights Constitution Clause. The development of the country is different. It's religion is different. The commerce is different. The transportation is different. The history is WAY DIFFERENT.

Asians also have a different root in philosophy approaches. The workplace mindset is different and leadership and respect ethics are different.

Ron Paul works in meshed melting pot cultures and predominantly free and unsupressed cultures that had free markets to begin with or operate on.

Some people here don't want LIBERTY or AMERICAN STYLE. They want their own lives and beliefs and system.

    Which are oposite of American.
First, I am a natural born Filipino who happens to be inspired by an American Congressman who was inspired by a French economist/Philosopher.... Liberty is not a concept that is unique for the west, otherwise, it contradicts itself...
I am raised, educated and worked as a Filipino with no other citizenship and have never set foot on American Soil... But, the message of Liberty transcend geopolitical boundaries, it is afterall the highest form of political attainment.

The Philippines is evolving into a multicultural society as such have happened with the US. The free entry and the absence of immigration regulation in the past have transformed US into a multicultural society and have reaped vast benefits from open entry and open trade.

I suggest you read our Constitution first before you claim that we don't have Bill of Rights or an equal rights clause... Australia has none btw...

when the government fears the people, there is liberty. some points taken from sngbm and points from you emow...although still baffled why, we are unable to apply liberty, in which case, philippines with multi-culture has only one mindset unlike the US. we cannot take responsibility for own actions, to think that the govt can not, how much more for its people. You emow perhaps can, behave according to your own free will, but how about the others? gays? what the? they don't even behave corporately in the private sector, all they have is humor circling around........free market? maybe emow can handle it, but if you have competitors already, corporativism does not take place....no man is as greedy with another man, he always has greed much more of that other man. likewise, free market will take flight to reality if another revolution enters and destroys the gov't...and im talkin about a national context only not globally...

What propels capitalism towards corporatism? government. What corrupts the free market that creates artificial shortages? Government. Who redistributes the wealth of the citizens for the benefit of parasites of the society at the pretext of noble charity? Government, and redistribution of wealth is not production, it can destroy capital.

Greed? What is greed? Is it necessarily points towards the roads of hell? Greed is natural in all of us. That is nature, for each man to aspire for more than what he has. Contentment is stagnation. Greed propels man to advance. But greed can also cause man to his downfall, and that's where the government should step in. Protecting the right to property. But the government's influence into the market should be kept negative, nothing should be forced to effect on the market. Instead, it acts only at the presence of injustice, like plunder. That is the only time where government can exert a positive influence, to remove injustice.
Thus, making plunder more painful than honest labor.

it seems you are very defensive with greed. man, greed is everywhere i assure you...it's predecessors are the philosophical combinations of theories from different levels of intellectual greediness...that even includes your laissez-faire free market. the government is much greedier than "one" person, but not the entirety of the nation, because it is the composite of different people with overly high self-interest...ideally, you're assumptions are what marx has ought to write because he cares so much for the poor...but even then, free market results into a more chaotic centralized anarchy in which, the rich get to employ ideas that makes his production fit to his satisfaction but not to the general public. an example is hegemony throughout the world. there is no world gov't but a series of anarchy where free market exist underground that, again, the general public havent known.

Ok so you are a full blood Filipino but you don't understand that this country isn't the same. Some of the principles won't work here. Ron Paul has a method that will work for the United States. He talks alot about STATES RIGHTS being violated by the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. Philippines doesn't have a confederacy or federal system. This is a nationalistic country with neo-colonialism.

Also CIVIL MATTERS are dealt with State Governments in the US individually on case by case basis with each state having different courts and different laws unaffecting the other states. Civil Matters are all isolated. The Federal stays completely out of it. Even USC and SC stuff are restrained when entering state matters.

The Philippines doesn't have this and that is an important part of the US's system of FREEDOM and LIBERTY.

You live in a liberal socialistic system that is nationalized.

How do you suppose the free market exist underground? it is because of what? I am not defending the poor, the rich, the charitable nor the greedy... I am defending each man to live his own fate, and let him keep what he produce. There is anarchy in free market when the government doesn't protect property. I believe you are describing anarchy for my free market concept. I do not advocate no government, that would be a pandemonium. I am for limited government that protects life, liberty and property. I am not advocating equality or fairness, but liberty...

It doesn't matter, as long as we are closer to the concept of Liberty, one change at a time... It won't be overnight but the seeds must be planted now... Your country has also moved towards socialism and that's why you need people like Paul to awaken the rest of your country to revert back to the orginal concepts of Liberty;give me liberty or give me death, that's the motto of Ron Paul supporters in your country...

dude, i like your style...but that won't work now because marx's to each his own production did not work out to be fine for other regions of the earth before. and unluckily, we're an existing colony of this neo-colonialism under the US fragment of soft power.
