^ Before Gen. Senga leaves, he's leaving the military still with a handful of military training to ascertain that terrorism will be addressed accordingly. We do not want to be plagued with terrorists, anyway.

I hope that these programs will bring about a more trained military to step up our drive against anti-terrorism.

    and the cold truth:

bisan pila pa ka anti-terrorism bill ang ipasar... make it ATB III or IV, if the government only parades the bill wala ghapon nada.

they should focus first on the scams dha sa ranks sa AFP and PNP. before they implement that. kanang mga buaya sa sulod are the ones slowly and obviously terrorizing not just the government but the people as well. and i bet they would be spending billions to have this take effect.

    maybe potterboy was right!

all i can say is that the government must clean the AFP & PNP, giving them the right benefits and must be properly trained in new skills in anti-terrorism. not just passing any Anti-terrorism bill, government only rely the united states in military actions!!!

To give credit to the AFP, they are becoming firmer in cracking the whip on erring military officials, especially those involved in malversation of funds and arms smuggling.

The Balikatan exercises are very useful in enhancing the capabilities of our soldiers. Information-sharing between Filipino and American forces is also vital to the anti-terrorism campaign. It doesn't mean that the government is relying solely on the U.S., as the allocation for the AFP is also among the biggest in the budget to provide for proper benefits for the soldiers like housing as well as other aspects of its modernization program.

Sec. Puno said that the Philippines remains to be the safest country in SEA in terms of terrorism. He said that the group of terrorist here in the country is only composed of less than 10 people and is infact under police and military surveilance. and this police and military forces are working around the clock to that there would be no terrorist group appear in any part of our country.

He added that the increase of tourist arrivals in the country only indicates that even the foreign country agrees that we are safe from those terrorist invaders.

It is really important to focus on our peace and order situation if we want more investments. Congress needs to work on the anti-terrorism bill and other more important legislation than more impeachment nuisance which only hinders them from focusing what could actually improve the people's lives.

I agree with that. Instead of them wasting time to this numerous impeachment cases, i would suggest they should focus themselves to the most important bills needs attention and mostly needed here in our country. Most especially this anti-terrorism law, which is strongly pusue by PGMA. She said that the congress should work on this bill as soon as the Senate resume their session. This bill would not only punish the terrorists but its financiers as well and would compliment the antimoney laundering law.
