It’s funny how you think not believing in GOD is not normal. I wasn’t expecting that from you. And oh, believing in GOD is absolutely normal. Afterall, it’s our choice what we believe and not believe.

No I didn't said anything about not being normal if one does not believe in a divine...why? don't you think wa ko'y doubts? Man, i've been fighting ever since scratching some sense here and there for all of this..

But believers are not usually the first to cast something like delusional, hallucination, oxy*****, shortminded and the bunch to non-believers. A quick survey here of previous posts here will surely imply that believers are not sanely normal..hehehehe...I'm not being specific about you Chad, just an observation lang nako..

There is proof of God's existence . Let alone 2 doctors of the church who can manifest this . St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine . It doesnt have to be the God the Catholics observe . It is somthing of a SUPREME BEING and to conclude it , one poster also said about , WHO put that part of the brain to function like that .

Lastly , I believe in a God because of the need to it . I was born and raised as a Catholic . Was adventurous enough to venture into other sects and cults and religion . I stayed with being a catholic because I may not agree with the doctrines and the teachings since they are man made , I firmly and totally agree with the loving and all powerful God we have .

Yeah...agree ko ani, mao gyud ni bottomline, para nako ha..if you don't choose to believe in God life is truly meaningless and pointless. How in the hell we evolve to have this ability to realized the futility of our existence? Does the cavemen really need to worship the mountains simply to survive the harsh environment or the wild ferocious beast? o di kaya ning mga monkeys sauna mas naa silay higher rate to survive kung gradually they learn to think that the banana was a god to be worship otherwise it will not bear fruit?

Even wild beasts tend to live together as herd without having a religion or belief to influence them to that..otherwise why doesn't evolution come up with something better to plug the hole regarding this enigma? yet it persist causing much more harm to mankind...eventually will be the cause of our extinction.

If science base everything on theories, shouldn’t we do the same with god?

Knowing God is very different from believing God. You have closed your mind already that God exists that is why you don't dig deeper. Your analysis of God is limited only on your human consciousness.

alright guys. off-topic na gyud ta. back to the topic. the question of the topic was: is it safe to say that believing in GOD is all in the mind? thus, God does not exist? maybe the answer is already obvious... but the question is certainly nice to discuss. this thread is not meant to offend the believers, but rather, make them have an open mind and consider the possibilities that GOD is just another man-made concept.

Definitely your answer is all in your mind. Don't force us to think you are correct, you havent presented anything appealing. While we believers can give you statistics, faith an example of a grateful life. hahay!

I think it answers the whole thought, not the question.

You have to believe it to worship it.

So why believe? Because something tells them its REAL. All 4Billion People at least believe in God, And yea believe me on this: YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN THOSE PEOPLE after all we are born equal.

i respect people's beliefs but it should be nothing more than respecting your next door neighbor about turning the volume down coz it's too noisy. my point is that people tend to put too much respect on religion that it's intriguing in some ways.

putting an earphone in your ears does makes it intriguing. I wonder if its envy or you want to listen too but not too loud. hehehe! Not all music are NOISY by the way. But music are moody so becareful on that line... maybe you mean LOUD.
