As much as we want to uncover whether God exists or not; Sad to say, We can't.
Why? Because of our limitations; Limited knowledge, Limited Wisdom.
Although there are ideas that would baffle our existence. Still, how good that theory might be, We cannot prove or disprove the existence of God.
The important idea that we need to contemplate on is: What impact did God create upon us?
Has God change your life? Did God ruin your life?
Has God inspired you to become a better person?
Did God gave you a sense of purpose or meaning?
The choice is for you to choose. Just consider the pros and cons.
All we can do for now is WAIT -- When death comes knocking at our door.
People believe in the divine because they refuse to accept that life is actually meaningless and pointless.

God here is not the supernatural being separate from our own existence..
God is the undefined..
There is no God but God..
science only deals with physical things.. but beyond that, living things are more than the constituents of its chemical components. but anyway, I really don't know where I'm going with this *explanation*.. its just that God is.. the past, the present, the future..
flying spaghetti monster is definitely not God, or any other invisible man.. hehe..
but if you look at it from that view, then there is no god in that kind anywhere (i think.. i dont believe in that either.. its just a tribal excuse for something unexplained.. but its not to say they are totally wrong.. they just wanted to personify this "undefined".. a lot of people cannot really grasp abstract.. so its being concretized into a story..)![]()
Its ok to believe in god
its also ok not to believe in god
What is not ok is when either side forcibly imposed their belief system to other mind sets..

i was inquiring as to why people approach the supernatural differently in a way they do with science. but to make it clear, i was referring to the judeo christian god---the supernatural god. for the record, i'm not saying that believing in GOD is wrong---i'm just saying why believe in GOD when he is unknown. it's like saying why believe we have an afterlife when we haven't been there.![]()
no offense bro, but that's a very selfish way of looking at life..
do something worthwhile for the evolution of humanity as a whole.. that is one purpose in life worth living for. whether you believe in a God, or God or no such belief at all..
devoting your energy for the good of mankind in every action you make..
for some people who's not gonna help in the evolution of humanity, they might as well stop living to stop wasting resources..they're the ones messing up the harmony in human society..
yeah, I get what you mean.. I don't really buy into the judeo-christian god either in the way the religious organizations present it..
afterlife is included in it.. its good for talk or discussions, but actually imposing on others that what your imagination of the afterlife is the real one is a different story.. people tend to force their imaginations on others in a really nasty ways..
