We need to understand that before Israel became a nation, Egypt was their home. Moses the man who led Israel was raised by the royal family of Egypt, and royalties during that time were educated according to the pagan culture of Egypt,that includes mysticism, kabbalah, magic.

Was there astronomy during Jesus' time? pls study the Magi. The name itself reflects the idea that they were skillful practitioner of mysticism. and their study brought them to Jesus.
