on mysticism: i based my statement on this wiki description.
the pursuit of communion with, identity with, or conscious awareness of an ultimate reality, divinity, spiritual truth, or God through direct experience, intuition, instinct or insight.

on the library of alexandria:
what i was trying to say is that the library may have had other records that could support/deny these "Bible Truths". no harm intended, all for scholarly research.
on interpretation and debate:
i did not say any of these were/are wrong. if my post implied such, then i apologize, it was never my intention. so maybe perhaps you had a WRONG interpretation?
not much really, just my interpretation:
...the Lord specified for him the perfect dimensions for a stable water vessel (Genesis 6:15).
...almost all the ocean floor is in total darkness and the water pressure becomes enormous
...Medical science has discovered that the blood clotting chemical prothrombin peaks in a newborn on the eighth day.
what i am trying to say is that people may have attributed this specific details to some higher being or power but that the discovery of such was accidental or was a result of constant innovation/improvements (maybe taking several years or generations).
lastly, i think you're too combative on your replies. its not a case of you against the world dood.
