makes more sense to me. i was reading this gnostic book, forgot the title, about killing the ego. it seems abhorrent to me, killing something which is a part of you. Originally Posted by regnauld
It's not really killing the ego or personality but rather subduing it. You cannot kill the ego because it's part of the lower self! You can only tame and transform it! Just like taming the tiger or the demon within you!
