2. signing bonus aka PST certification bonus (28k) was being offered before sometime around late 2007. when you are offered it is given. it was the time they needed employees badly. basically you have to get HIRED by the company before u get this. and by hired meaning you pass DIET, PST and the OJT-ABAY which is about 3months after ur first day in the company.
3. training allowance may actually be less than the minimum wage per se so that it will be untaxable but then it still has a ++ that in the end you actualy get more than the min wage. in fact if you know how much hotel employees who get paid min wage are getting per 15 days u get about 2x that.
4. quality wise it has some loopholes. a bit strict though not hard too hard. will eventually get used to it especially in the case of interruption/overtalking. gotta admit some info that u need to say can be too much when not asked for though u sort of get used to it. just follow protocols and goals will be reached. remember for as long as u follow procedures even to the point of getting your customers irate it is still possible to get 100% whereas customer satisfaction is different. not only do you have to follow procedures you have to make sure that cusotmers are still happy even if you are not able to get them what they want. quality may be a struggle in the beginning but eventually becomes easy.
5. not too sure about the magic because bonuses are based on stats. attendance, compliance and qa. you can't cheat those. AHT and ATTENDANCE is logged. QA is either recording or side by side. recroding si tough to dispute but still possible. side by side can be disputed when there is something to dispute.
to get the big bonus one must get near perfect stats which is not hard to get. i know a lot of us, most actually if not all are always able to get perfect or near perfect bonus before we got promoted.

1. Nov26 of 2007 ko na hire for training. and i was under the XMAS bonus thingie they were offering. Diet Certification with sir bong was 3k. that was just DIET for 3days!. I did mention na bonuses at that time was BIG! it was INCREASING! but so is the time required before certification.
2.my PST was only around 10-15k. I forgot pero dli sila kaau nangihanlan ad2. only 3 batches for that month ra. The reason why 28k PST Certification imo nakuha kay daghan nmn nag resign ad2 2ngud sa ka daghan DISPUTES!! minsan as minimal as 500pesos ang missing(it can go thousands). Even TLs Left!! my TL and my other team's TL both LEFT in the same month. My QA Ms IVY left napud. si Ms. Kathee Paquiao ra cguro nag stay! and thats JANUARY of 08. ma half man gud pag abot sa diet mao 2 team ang 1batch. ka2ng 3rd day certifiers and NOT. Even a pioneering Agent nga gi PIRATE[uso man sila mamirate sa uban Callcenters when they opened, ma TL, ma AGENT even OM!] from CVG as well left kay gi ilad sya. When she was pirated, she was told she'd become a TL or QA even if she only had 1 sem left before graduating in USJR[working student sya]. She is one of Team Mclaren, that WAS thebest team! She is now a TL in Teletech. she graduated last year March. She was Hired January, moved February. Ultimo Best team TLs LEFT. actually ni AWOL!.
3.Training Allowance sucks! Hotel employees are NOT graveyard shift CALL CENTER AGENT TRAINEEs. when ba na sila nagkapareho ug level?? still not worth it. wla pa gyud kay insurance. They dont have any company inurance yet. Mobile Clinic ra gyud ang niabot sa medical exam. THATS IT.(coming from a big company

Cant understand basic common sense for the customers. mao daghan customers samokan. nagsalig ra sila kay wlay Customer Satisfaction Rating sa ilaha. You will just get the BASIC pay if you cannot get ALMOST perfect sa quality. if you fail 1 out of 5 sa QA maski by 1%. you will recieve 0% BONUS! as in 0%!. be happy with your BASIC PAY.
on top of that. All allowances ARE subject to LIQUIDATION[pakita resibo worth sa allowance . travel or meal] or else, it will BECOME TAXABLE. hassle kaha mag tigum ug resibo... wlay resibo sa taxi aron masayod ka. ang jeep? naa?? wla sab noh?
5.well you better check on your attendance... take note of your attendance then compare your pay. then check your attendance again after pay day and i can assure you, ALL RECORDS OF PREVIOUS DATES ARE ERASED.
the only thing you could use to dispute is the record on the PHONE!.(forgot the name. basta dli AVAYA). and that would take MONTHS.
thank GOD i left last week of February. Igo ra ko ni Certify sa OJT. Basically, Regular Agent na ko ad2. Took my OJT Certification Bonus, then left. cleared and all.
The Funny thing is, after CLEARING everything last February. I still recieved 2 letters from EMAX by OCTOBER! asking me on why i went AWOL(what?!?!) and requested me to submit a letter of reasons. But prior to that, someone called in with same stuff. so I answered i am already cleared. That person told me to ignore the letter theyve sent. A week after the letter, I recieved another letter that I got Terminated??!? wtf! excuse me but i dont have business with them. so I called them and no one can answer directly. So i ignored them. kapish EMAX sux!
I would NEVER ever include my experience in EMAX as my work history. I have Convergys na. that waaaay good enough experience to use in other call center companies.
