The head of Mumbai's Anti-Terrorism Squad, Hemant Karkare, was one of at least 11 security personnel killed in the shootouts.
Another siege was in progress at Nariman House, an office building that houses a Jewish centre. The chairman of the Indian Jewish Federation, Jonathan Solomon, said a rabbi and his family was being held inside by gunmen.

Islam is a religion that cannot co-exist with other religions. How can it be when even on it's own backyard muslims cannot co-exist with each other. Look at Pakistan, they have their chance to rule on their own, with their own religion, but nothing good happened. Look at the middle east most of the Islamic ruled countries there are hanging by a thread...anytime those countries will implode. Most of these Islamic countries are in deep sh_t and without those black gold many could be in deeper sh_t this world can offer.

Call me another Islam hater...but I have the reason to be. When they made fun or our Jesus, we Christians just turn our back and say "God Bless you". But if you say something unacceptable to them about Mohammad, they will start rioting or bombing just about anybody. All those excuses about being discrimated is full of BS coz it's their fault: their thinking and ideologies are as old as the pyramids of Egypt. Many religions are minorities outside their territory but they co-existed peacefully. To name a few: Judaism, Shinto, Buddhism and, even Christians in Muslim lands. But Islam, why can't it live peacefully with other religions?

I have been to and fro in a few Islamic countries in the Middle East. In Saudi in particular, may nalang ug kaugmaan ka @ronayo kun mag-dala2x kag Bibliya didto. Di man gani pwede magdala pagsulod sa airport. Di ta mag generalize kun pipila lang katawo ang sukwahi pero kun 80% sa ilang ka-relihiyon maoy attitude unsa may tawag nato ana...colonelize? Ang akong reaction is based on experience....IKAW unsa man imo...ba-ba ray gadako.
