The history of the Catholic Church begins with the teachings of Jesus Christ, who lived and preached in the 1st century AD in the province of Judea of the Roman Empire. The contemporary Catholic Church says that it is the continuation of the early Christian community established by Jesus.[1] Its bishops are the successors to the Apostles of Jesus, and the Bishop of Rome, also known as the Pope, is the sole successor to Saint Peter,[2] who was appointed by Jesus Christ to be the head of the church in the New Testament who ministered in Rome.[3][4] By the end of the 2nd century, bishops began congregating in regional synods to resolve doctrinal and policy issues.[5] By the 3rd century, the bishop of Rome began to act as a court of appeals for problems that other bishops could not resolve.[6]

Christianity spread throughout the early Roman Empire, despite persecutions due to conflicts with the pagan state religion. In 313, the struggles of the Early Church were lessened by the legalisation of Christianity by the Emperor Constantine I. In 380, under Emperor Theodosius I, Christianity became the state religion of the Roman Empire by the decree of the Emperor, which would persist until the fall of the Western Empire, and later, with the Eastern Roman Empire, until the Fall of Constantinople. During this time (the period of the Seven Ecumenical Councils) there were considered five primary sees (jurisdictions within the Catholic Church) according to Eusebius: Rome, Constantinople, Antioch, Jerusalem and Alexandria, known as the Pentarchy.

Most denomination don't really consider the versions. Let alone study the history, background, translations and translators of these versions. Most are told by their pastors or church leaders on what to use.
The KJV is the oldest translation the most original and authentic version of the Bible.

Others versions clearly there are omissions and changes because they have reasons behind it.
The early Catholic church is largely responsible for omitting and changing the word in the Bible.
New Age churches to fit their agenda of relegating the divinity of Christ to suit or "fit in" with other paganistic doctrines making Christ more equal to hindu gods, or other religions of Paganistic origin.
there are other reasons for changing the Bible so that this will give them more reasons for the church leaders to extort money, any personal purposes or for financial or political gain for power ect.

The kjv was translated with the highest intention to preserve the original word to be the closest as we can humanly be to the word of God. We need to also consider the translators, clearly distinguished linguist scholars like Martin Luther, William Tyndale, and Myles Coverdale. The KJV was also an outstanding undertaking to translate the Bible by a team of 50 protestant linguist scholars composed of Church of England and Puritans Led by King James I, to produce highest quality in the preservation and quality of words.

    Good question.
The video that I posted should have the answer. it compares the purity of the KJV and corrupted version of different Bibles.

These other versions most of them are all derived and sourced from 2 oldest original translations the KJV or the Latin Vulgate from the Catholics.
The 2 oldest versions the original KJV and the latin vulgate are very far apart.
For the Latin Vulgate you get the Douay-Rheims translation from the Jesuit and other catholic bibles.
For the KJV you get the NIV, NKJV, Good news version, ect.

So it would be logical to go directly to the oldest version.
Based on the video the KJV was changed subtly and largely as a result of these new versions would drastically change its doctrine or corrupt its true meaning.
I would say these other versions that derive from KJV are counterfeit.

So naa sa mga followers ang burden to check asa nila ang fake or original? Karon panahona lisod na kaayo i distinguish asa ang original or fake. Mao ng unsaon kaha sa ordinaryo nga tawo nga gusto unta mo follow sa truth pero naglisod kay libog asa ang tinood.

Unya kining imong giingon nga oldest version, how sure nga dili pud ni counterfeit ug walay nausab ani? Naa diay alamag ang ordinaryong tawo ug unsay original form or dili?

If these "words of god" can easily be counterfeited then so are some religious leaders. Can you counterfeit the teachings of Science? Like changing 9.8 m/s2 to something like 9.81 m/s2 to suit your needs?

I can't understand why religion put their members in a dilemma.

In Christianity, dili ana ka simple lang ang pag establish sa truth para lang maabot sa atong panahon karon nga plain, simple and reachable sa tanan, it took the blood of the saints/martyrs para mabuo ang kamatuoran!

Satan on the other hand is trying his best to suppress and if possible destroy this truth by all means.
Our responsibility is to search and dig deeper of this truth.
