Nag rebelde sila kay ang mga teachings sa catholic church kay against sa teachings sa bible.

And pra sa information sa tanan and just a fact. walay mabasa sa bibliya nga "church of christ"
Ang mabasa ra didto kay "church of God" or iglesia ng Dios.

Kung bibliya lng ang sundon... kinsa may nagtugod og laing simbahan karun, kinsa may mga nagbuhat og ila own church name....?

"Roman Catholic Church" , baptist church, seventh day adventist church, iglesia ni kristo (ni Manalo), etc.

The bible specificaly named one true church, and that is the church of God..

Words can easily be manufactured and uttered,
but we have historical facts, who should you follow the person who built churches or Jesus Christ?
Are you willing to set aside Jesus Christ and His Church based on your understanding of the bible?
How perfect is your comprehension about the bible?

I agree and consider that believing in God while pursuing science is not a hindrance at all, in fact it guides your quest in a right and honest manner, dili ka mangilad!

There are lots of scientists migo who are believers of God and they lead a better lives!
And how do you know that I WANT or THEY WANT your promises? I am not sure if there's a word "forceable promises".

"I promise inday akong ihatag tanan nimong luho"
"Naa sa utok sa babae: Mayta matay ning tawhana oi samok!"

For me? You promise me heaven? I don't want that then what? You send me to hell? Where is my freewill oh lord?

And please oh brader, don't insult Science by mixing it with religious words. Science is based on evidence not faith. Can you QUANTIFY faith? Please?

Half of my life brader I am like you a religious fanatic So I guess that's common for scientists.

It is because of the agreement of peace in westphalia, nigawas ang different denominations...kaysa magpadayon nga magpatay ang protestant and roman catholics that time.
As Newton said, you just need to observe nature to understand nature. And by observing your answers - Religon is prone to division which causes wars. Ngano religion naa man jud apil wars sa? hmmmmm

I know some division sa Science kining gitawag nato ug cell division. Pero wala man sila mang war. IN FACT they divide to create life not kill life. Aside cancer

Understanding the Bible will lead a better understanding to Christ.
It would be more dangerous if you separate the Bible and Christ since we can only discern religious delusion through the Biblical insights. Christ himself is the "word". So what does this tell us Christ is the word of God. So I would say its safer if your knowledge is grounded in the Bible.

Index of 100+ Versions of the Scriptures

Sama sa kining naay job interview "Why should I hire you?" or "Why should I follow your bible and not theirs?"

Some claimed their bible is the truth,
Some claimed their bible is the truth,
Some claimed their bible is the truth,
Some claimed their bible is the truth,
Some claimed their bible is the truth,
Some claimed their bible is the truth,

There is not much debate on which version to look for.
Most denomination don't really consider the versions. Let alone study the history, background, translations and translators of these versions. Most are told by their pastors or church leaders on what to use.
The KJV is the oldest translation the most original and authentic version of the Bible.

Others versions clearly there are omissions and changes because they have reasons behind it.
The early Catholic church is largely responsible for omitting and changing the word in the Bible.
New Age churches to fit their agenda of relegating the divinity of Christ to suit or "fit in" with other paganistic doctrines making Christ more equal to hindu gods, or other religions of Paganistic origin.
there are other reasons for changing the Bible so that this will give them more reasons for the church leaders to extort money, any personal purposes or for financial or political gain for power ect.

The kjv was translated with the highest intention to preserve the original word to be the closest as we can humanly be to the word of God. We need to also consider the translators, clearly distinguished linguist scholars like Martin Luther, William Tyndale, and Myles Coverdale. The KJV was also an outstanding undertaking to translate the Bible by a team of 50 protestant linguist scholars composed of Church of England and Puritans Led by King James I, to produce highest quality in the preservation and quality of words.

I have posted earlier about how the Bible was changed this will be helpful for more insight.

There is also another detailed presentation about the Battle of the Bibles this is more based on the origins and digs deeper from the source.
Can Tetrad post link here: Thanks bro

    Perhaps you remember David Koresh,
and what does his Bible interpretation did to his innocent members.

Coming from a dysfunctional family background, Koresh claimed to become a Christian in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, before joining a splinter group, based at the Mount Carmel Center near Waco, Texas, which took the name Branch Davidians. Here he competed for dominance with another leader named George Roden, until Roden was jailed for murdering another rival. Koresh was then accused of seducing a 13-year-old girl, apparently with her parents’ consent, a relationship that he sanctified as a ‘spiritual marriage’. But it was the serving of arrest and search warrants by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as part of an investigation into illegal possession of firearms and explosives that provoked the historic 1993 raid on the center.[2] Four ATF agents and six Davidians were killed during the initial two hour firefight, both sides claiming the other side fired first. The subsequent siege by the FBI ended with the burning of the center, where Koresh and 79 others were found dead after the fire.
