    Depende sa sitwasyon.

Sa akoa case, gagamit ko aning "Thank you in advance" kung garemind ko sa among mga subcontractors about sa ila mga kinahanglan ipasa or buhaton which is ilaha jud unta obligasyon but wala nila buhata...By using the phrase murag imo sila gipush gamay to expedite and submit thier work in a polite way... And I use this lang sa emails not sa letter correspondence.

Salestalk style mana aron maglisod kag balibad hahaha. Sama anang inviton ka ug meeting then later naa diay ibaligya sa imoha. Then mo offer dayon sila ug dinner baron. So maglisod naka ug tanggi mura ka na trap.

Thank you can be said/expressed anytime, regardless if the request is done or not (such as "thanks anyway").
However, the most proper time for expressing "thank you" would be after the request is done or by the time that the requested party acknowledged the request.

Ayht! It comes across as an order, not a sincere expression of gratitude. It's like you shortcut the interaction by presuming the recipient will grant your request even before he/she agreed.

    Agree...
Just imagine this scenario as an example :

Note : Macho tawn kau c dulasnom.

What will happen is that, ma-pressure c dulasnom nga mopalit ug napkin sa tindahan
kay nangayo na daan ug salamat c Miaka23.

In this case, I would say, "impolite" ang gihimo ni Miaka23.
