    @MarXX Unless your overclocking, a stock heatsink with a suddenly broken fan won't fry your CPU, however, it will turn the PC off.. and unless you directly know the issue, you wont have any problems...
    @firelex18 your temps are fine while gaming, but better try running Prime 95 for 15 mins and note your temps, if it's still good after that, then you won't have any problems with your stock cooler.

    yes correct it wont fry your CPU. but it has just subjected your CPU to very high temperatures to the point of shutting down.

    now it depends on what you use the CPU for. kung gaming lang, aw pawng imo computer, no worries. its just a game.
    but in cases like me i use it for work, when i leave the CPU on when i sleep to render scenes (some scenes take 8hours to render) then it does matter.

    salamat gyud sir! =) naa nag ingon sa akoa na nindot daw ang gammaxx 400, cheaper compared to 212 plus..
    di naman ako nag rerender... and gaming lang talaga..

    Kuyawan ko pagkakita sa imoha temperature 65-68.. Dili nana NOrmal..

    so far sa akong nabantayan sa ako-ang i5 sauna Idle Temperature anah sa imoha lagmit mga : 28 to 35°C,,,, Then ang NORMAL is 50 to 62°C mao gyud na ang NORMAL....so max anah mo add up lang kang mga 5°C .. which is MAX TEMP anah kay 66°-77°C Mao gyud na bantayi boss mas maau gyud ang Imoha temperature between 50-60..

    Peru dili gihapon ko kontento anang 50-60... From now on im using i7 2600k processor.. which is pang heavy gaming gyud nako,, LABING taas karun nga TEMP saako-a 35-42 RAH gyud na,, which is mao ni ang TEMP status sa akong i7:

    Core i7-2600K
    Idle Temperature: 32 to 40°C
    Normal Temperature: 47 to 60°C
    MAx Temperature: 72°C

    SO bisag pang heavy gaming kaau bsta IMBa lang ang mga BLOWER/COOLER nimo ug mga heatsink... ang TEMPerature nako naa gihapon sa IDLE nga TEMP... bisag grabi na kaaung process..

    PRefer ko nimo broo pa ilisi gyud ug COOLER!! DILIKADO..

    @TS pareha cpu ta boss stock cooler ra aq ginamit generic ag case wala pa gani hinlo HSF mas init pa aqo ah 6hrs gaming kda adlaw mag 2yrs na kapin buhi pa man wla jud madaot.. ga huwat jud kanus a madaot cpu pra upgrde ko 4th gen

    pila imong temp?? akoaa naa ko fan 2 intake, 2 exhaust.. then stock cooler..

    MY CASING : Zalman Z9 Plus
    4 Intake, (1 sa luyo, 1 sa right, 1 sa atubangan, 1 sa ubos)
    2 Exhaust ( 2 sa imabaw)

    nindot kaau ang mga casing sa zalman boss,, Sakto gyud kaau pag ka design nga gituyo gyud nga sa top ang exhaust.. ky syempre Heat will rise above baya so gibutangan siya gyud sa top para dali rah kagawas ang init//..
