temps on my pc high! what's d problem?

Have two pc's which both have a celeron d proc & asus mobo. The other week, I took out a proc of one of the pc to test a P4 proc. That was the first time na tang-tang ang proc. After testing the P4 which was ok, I placed back the celeron d proc on the mobo/pc. Now my question is the pc (kato gitang-tang nya gibalik ang proc) temp is around 52c-53c when not in use and shoots to 57c-60c when in used compared to the other pc which has a temp of 47c when not in use and around 53c-54c when in use. I find it rather unusual to have 2 pc's of the same specs and giving out different temps. What could be the problem here? Is this safe? Mu-matter ba ang room temps ani. I heard na init daw ni and presscot cores. I'm concerned kay init man gud nya wa man ni gi overclock. My proc might not last long of I don't do something.

Any help would sincerely be appreciated. I know daghan kaayo maayong laki diri sa istorya. Thanks!!!!!!

eventhough you have the same mobo, they have different set of components indivudually which you cannot assure working properly. you cannot expect them to be the same exactly but at least a small tolerance will do. you said using a prescott cpu, it really gets hot easily. if you are not satisfied with your fan, you can purchase a bigger and more reliable one just to make the temperature below 60. if your mobo has a cpu speed controller on bios, set it on full speed. thats if the cpu temp is not increasing over 60 because if its still increasing beyond that, you better change your mobo before you have a damaged cpu.

oic. but the mobo temps are ok 35c to 37c. Yes, I remembered just puting back the cpu & the heat sink fan lang dayon with out cleaning it. Mao diay ni reason init ako cpu? I didnt know that gray thing in between the cpu & hsf matters. Asa man ta palit ana, is that expensive? Will that do the job?

basta imo gani na tangtangon imo cpu cooler... inig taod nimo ug balik ana, kinahanglan gyud na nimo butangan ug thermal paste. kay natangtang na to ang thermal paste nga pakapin sa imo stock cooler. palit kag thermal paste... naay thermal paste sa pcxpress. ang silver 5 kay 550 pesos. unya ang ceramic kay murag 450 pesos.

If you're saying " if naa wawarts, buy arctic silver", i assume the silicon paste is much cheaper. Asa man ta kapalit ana silicon paste? Would this be any better kaysa bubblegum nga gipapilit sa intel? Wa pa say 1 yr ako proc, sayop lang nako ako gitang-tang, will this void my warranty mga bro
