mao ni buhaton nimo para d ka ma-bsod (which is usually driver issues) - always install first on default-default bios settings and default driver settings that came with sa imohang mobo.

ako routine is assemble the cpu and run without the monitor, just to check ang beep codes and fans are running before i-close ang panels...

Same here bro, I do this routine before I close the side panels. I start the mobo with a screw driver before I plug those pins.

    akoa kay:

i ground my hands with the screwdriver. to release any static charges i had b4 touching any hardware.

Hardware : i read the manual! even though naka suway nako ug install sa type sa hardware, para refresher lang ..and pa relax..( usually if excited ra kaayo ta, we forget basic things, like jumpers etc..) i smoke cigarette if pwede. < not advisable hehehe

assemble ug hinay hinay, over the years maka kato-on ra ka ug technique how to do things on specific hardware, like LGA775 HSF install na sayon kaayo, aron dili mabali ( broken ) ang plastic lock.

human ug assemble, i use basic logic of compatibility ( software vs hardware ) para ma set properly sa bios like Werty said ( google if available )

in any business or military endeavor , intelligence gathering or data collection is the key for sound judgement and response, so it always pay to know what you are doing.

then : listen to tone when booting up.

it's like an experiment you already know, but still be ready for surprises. rubber tire was accidentally discovered this way.

Software : mag sure ko ug hamit pinaka latest nga OS flavor version ( i googled it almost weekly )

    example : win 7 ; im using a 48 in 1 updatable ( which i can not post , pm lang )
win xp : i'm using a modified version ( which i can not post , pm lang )

on most cases, it has had the most stable driver version ( which can be updated too ) to make it ran except for ivybridge and Fx series | Llano | trinity

after install, i checked the driver properties to see if naa pay wala ma installan ug drivers.

i use the mobo driver cd or VC driver cd as basic

so the CPU becomes assemble, install and play.
