The anti-terrorism is no useless unless there comes a chance when it should be enforced but our authorities fail to enforce or excute it. By the way it's effectivity is still 2 months from now so those who say that it will be used against the opposition are just so wrong and paranoid. Sabi nga if you're a law abiding citizen you have nothing to fear, you won't be afraid of the law's enforcement. It's high time that our fight against groups that spread violence and terror be intensified.

point well taken and understood.. but come to think this way.. ikaw na innocent, kayang kaya ka i tag as "terrorist" because of this (stupid) law... why.. kay tungod sila man na nasa gahum ang naay powers na mu-tag as terrorist! kay sila man ang naghimu ani.. kung musupak na gani ka sa gobyerno, they can tag u as terrorist! this law doesnt scare the opposition and/or the leftist.. tanan naa sa kayutaan sa pilipinas.. pwede au nila ma tag as terrorist..

^ They will still have to prove it by evidence. Those who were given authority to tag people as terrorist have to support it with evidence. That is the reason why there is a definition of the word terrorism under the law.

If one of the elements of the crime is not present, then there is no crime committed or a different crime is committed. I'd rather have an enabling law than be threatened with all those terrorist groups.
