55'C ? thats prescott right? if yes fan cooling wont bring it down below 45'C when loaded. even with the best fan coolers, water cooling is another thing.

knowing that my processor is having a 55 Degrees Celius temperatues can anyone provide me a CPU fan and Heatsink and how much it can reduce the temperature:

example:

Heat sink & Fan ABC Brand = 45 C

naka overclock ni bai? akoang prescott 2.4 @2.8 kay mo igo 57 C load (stock HSF)...

ngita pa lagi kog better HSF ani, wah may mga stocks oi gi kapoi nakog libot2x og mga PC shops diri...

pero para nako kung diri pilipinas nya no aircon ang room, average (normal) raman cguro nang cpu temp @ around 50 C, basta dili lang pud cguro mo igo og 60 C...

ako kung walay aircon then init ang room, normal ra kaayo mu abot 60'C ang temp, prescott 3.0ghz. thats normal, themralright slk heatsink and silentfan. (init gyud kaayo ang room)

my room is not aircondition but its not hot cause semi-basement, 2.8ghz OC 3.192ghz super stable Thermalright XP90 so far b4 bati pero karun ok na,.. this my temp idle 39C-42C load 43C-47C before 49C-57C

i tried my intel Pentium 4 630 running without fan on by accident. Nothing happen, but i can feel that my comp is slower than usual, i think its 4x slower. i check my system then i notice i forgot to connect the cpu fan to the mobo. I touched the Heat Sink and its very hot, its almost you can't touch it. After I turned on the fan, everything backs to normal. True story bro!
