Ageia recently released a new dedicated physics processor for next-gen PC gaming... the card--(PCI card which connects to your mobo via a PCI slot ver. 2.0 and later)--that has this processor solely handles all the physics and effects calculations/processes in the game(explosions, clothing physics, water physics, etc.)....this leaves all graphics, texturing, and image quality calculations/processes to the video card...
