Although cars and money are necessities, for me.. It would not be the first reason why I like the person. It's who he is, and not what kind of car he's driving or how much money he has in the bank.

One is going to live with the person not with the money or car. Though it has been happening on our society today, I would still prefer the person himself. But just like you said, most girls would prefer such but most women (the more mature ones) would rather choose the not-so-rich guy (one that has a stable job at least) rather than luxury when it comes to taking the realationship to the next level. But again, there are exeptions to every rule.
