We see crimes everyday committed by minors/youth offenders, this law should be modified.

yup, I agree 100%. In my own opinion, minors that had commited a crime should be wearing a tarpuline size plackard on their front and back stating, "Kawatan ko," or "Rapist ko", etc... and should walking around in fuente circle for 15-30 days 5 hours a day. and of course they should be in chains too...

Benefits from the LGU? prisons won't be overcrowded and easy to maintain.

ask lang ko TS... kay murag dili man ang RA 7610 ang issue but rather RA 9344 which is the Juvenile Justice Act base sa mga reaction sa mga ni post... kay personally idont find anything wrong with RA 7610, it very helpful in the protection of children's right... but that is not case with RA 9344
