nvidia kernel mode driver stopped responding problem....seeking assistance

Oftentimes, whenever I play games my monitor would suddenly turn off and on and display this message:
"nvidia kernel mode driver has stopped responding but has recovered".
Is this a hardware failure?
Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?
Any ideas would be welcome..

e update suway ang driver boss.. ako gamit kay 301.24 wa ko problema.. e uninstall ang driver din e install ang bag-o

did you overclocked your vcard? if so,try running them on default speed.

yeah update the drivers basin adunay bugs.... or reinstall jud na basin na corrupt imung drivers niana..
