Default "display driver has stopped responding and has fully recovered" II

I would prefer to make a new thread since this is about the new card. I had replaced from ATI Sapphire HD5770 1GB/GDDR5 to Inno3d to Palit same nVidia card version model GTS 450 1GB/GDDR5. This is all brand new items and fresh build.

    1. Ram memtest per stick w/o any problems @ 0 error.
    2. GPU stress test FURMARK for 1hour no issues like FREEZE and BSOD.
    3. All my temperature from CPU, HDD, GPU are normal)

    Card History:

1st used was ATI Sapphire HD5770 1GB/GDDR5 I encountered these issue (one time happen BSOD and Random Total System Freeze)

2.Inno3d GTS 450 1GB/GDDR5 I only encountered this "My computer will freeze for a second, then the screen will go black, then come back, with the following tooltip:

"Display driver stopped responding and has recovered.
Display driver atikmdag stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

So for peace of mind I have it replaced to a new card.

    3. So last one is Palit GTS 450 1GB/GDDR5 I only encountered this as well "My computer will freeze for a second, then the screen will go black, then come back, with the following tooltip:

"Display driver stopped responding and has recovered.
Display driver atikmdag stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

It also happened if I would play games like NFS2 and CS and running FUMARK stress test.

Now I just updated my motherboard BIOS to the latest one and use the VC latest driver...I could not imagine it occurs back again.

Now I rolled back to the original cd/dvd driver of my GPU.

Please help me how to resolve my problem as these all are brand new I could not imagine how I got hard time on my fresh build.

    Thanks a lot.

Last time nga naka-encounter ko ani nga problema was way back 2006. I purchase a Radeon 9550 for my P3 Rig with a 300w psu. Habang ga game ko, mubalik lang siya sa desktop with that error. Updated the driver, reseat the card a couple of times wala ghapon. Got it tested sa amo home pc, and it was running like a champ. It turns out dili kaya sa ako psu ang additional load from the card.

bro wala jud nmo tumana ang uban suggestions:

    1. your last system temp was 37deg---thats too high. solution, better airflow inside case. something is overheating na wala makita sa imo software sensors.. lower this reading to about 31-33 and basin things will stabilize. try having an electric fan blow towards your motherboard jst to isolate things. might even be an overheating chipset, vrm or something....
    2. update your motherboard bios to latest version, the one that solves compatibility issues....

im sure doin these two procedures will solve your problem... report back after doing this...

@werty: Sir read this on my first post:

Now I just updated my motherboard BIOS to the latest one and use the VC latest driver...I could not imagine it occurs back again.
I also tried opening the chassis w/ electric fan didn't work.

I've been thinking about Silverstone 500W PSU do you think 500W can handle my system?

    Mobo: Asus P7P55D-E Pro
    Procie: Corei3 540 @ 3.06Ghz
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 sp1
HDD: 1Tera Seagate 3.5" SATA III
    Ram: 4 X 2GB DDR3 1333 Zeppelin w/ RAMSINK running @ 8GB
    Video Card: Palit GTS 450 1GB/128 GDDR5
Power Supply: 500W Silverstone Essential 80Plus
    1 LG Optical Drive
    Chassis: Silverstone PS01B-W Transparent sidepanel.

This is a warning for driver and GPU driver issue...please need your brilliant suggestions.

    Thanks kaayo.

    kani napud isulay...

*clear cmos, restore to default values
*use only 1 stick of ram
*change to another psu (worst case)

you may even try Win7 w/o SP1, and dont update system.

another thing to try, if wala warranty ni imo motherboard, try to reseat the heatsinks found on the motherboard and replace thermal paste. but if naa warranty, leave it alone nalang..

u may also remove any hardware not needed for now, or disable any bios settings not needed like usb2.0/3.0 ports, the additional sata ports and just use the chipset sata port, etc etc etc... i isolate tanan just enough to run your computer..

    @werty:

Ok sir here are my answers:

*clear cmos, restore to default values (I've done this already but I will try this once and for all)
*use only 1 stick of ram (mmmm may I know why should be putting 1 stick? it has been Memtest already w/o any erros)
*change to another psu (worst case) - I think this could be the possibility.

I've use PSU calculator from extreme and even asus recommended psu wattage I only got below 500W suggested or recommended PSU wattage.

Thanks I will try to do some work around.
