    Default "display driver has stopped responding and has fully recovered"


    Anyone got this error on their GPU's? is this fatal? could the driver update will fix this problem? what's the cause of this error?

    Is their anything to do w/ my GPU hardware? it has 45C idle and 40-50C loaded.

    I just got my GTS450 brand new and 2-3 times that errors occur using the CD driver comes from it. I just got update the driver as what the others suggested.

    But let see if this thing occur again.

    same problem naku sauna, 2xGTS450 in SLI mo kalit lag stop, blackscreen den mgawas na nga promp sa ubos, happens once in a while XD by the way im usin the latest geforce driver at that time. dunno if its fatal but its obviously annoying gyud labi na magduwa ko, mao ako na tu gi dispatsa ako cards XD

    @cursememore: Did you resolved the problem? so far using the latest driver from nvidia whql I haven't seen any issues like that anymore for couple of hours, I know its too early to say but hope this will resolved the issue.

    at that time 25x.xx pamn ang driver ato sa nvidia, wala na resolve, nahalin nlng ang card, haha pero ok nmn cgru tu xa rn kay la mn reklamo ang naka palit. sa driver lng cgru ang problem

    @cursememore: Hahaha mao bah bro good to hear that. Anyways, I think this is driver issue sa windows 7 since gikan ko nag replace ug 5770 na VC still the same problem, pero mas grabe kaayo to coz I got freeze and bsod. I may also have to update the bios sooner or later.

    I love windows 7 coz nice UI pero daghan manpud ug issue sama ra sa vista! crap gihapon.

    Same ra sa Vista? @_@ nvm.

    Clean uninstall and clean install lang bro. Basin naa mga salin2x na driver sa lain cards.

    @Dondon: Nope sir i've done an intensive test and diagnose from RAM using memtest per stick at zero errors, HDD test using seatool at zero errors as well and even PSU. I also done reformatting several times and clean driver install. All the hardware parts are brand new bro I can't say its in my system anymore. That was the trouble when I was using HD5770 I had several freeze and one time BSOD, "display driver has stopped responding and has fully recovered" issue also. But right now using GTS450 I got no problem about freezing/bsod but the only problem I got is this issue "display driver has stopped responding and has fully recovered" and 3x it happen using the cd driver. Right now I updated the new driver from Nvidia hope this will fix the problem...so far so good.

    bro, with your new gts 450 to replace your old hd 5770 and still having the same BSOD problems, im looking @ not a driver issue anymore.
