The Nutcracker, performed for the first time in 1892, is a world-renowned perennial holiday classic ballet performance. Inspired by the beauty and elegance of the time-honored tradition, Clinique, a trusted brand since 1968, has developed The Nutcracker Suite capturing the beauty and grace of this classic performance.
“The collection was inspired by the characters, costumes and scenery of the performance,” said Janet Pardo, Senior Vice President Clinique Global Product Development. “The tulles and velvet fabrics in vivid pinks, glittering whites and vibrant purples inspired us to develop a color collection that brings to life the whimsy of The Nutcracker.”
Snowflakes and Sugar Plums
The Nutcracker Suite offers the perfect palette for a pretty holiday look – from day to night – celebrating the spirit of the performance. The Nutcracker Suite features a color compact containing an eye shadow quad with a coordinating Blushing Blush Powder Blush shade, along with a complementary shade of Chubby Stick Baby Tint Moisturizing Lip Color Balm.
Inspired by the ‘Waltz of the Snowflakes,’ The Nutcracker Act I color compact includes a Snowflake Suite eye shadow quad in soft pinks and sultry tones, and a delicate pink Blushing Blush. The Chubby Stick Baby Tint Moisturizing Lip Color Balm in Budding Blossom was chosen to complement the ballet inspired tones and shades.
In Cebu, The Nutcracker Act I Compact is now available at the Clinique Counter in the newly opened Rustan's Department store located at Ayala Center Cebu's New Wing.
