Independence Day is fast approaching and Marco Polo Cebu has prepared a sumptuous buffet to celebrate the 116th Philippine Independence Day in a culinary journey at the “Best Buffet in Cebu City”, Café Marco.
Café Marco’s Culinary Journeys: Comida de Independencia is under the guidance of Cebu’s culinary guru, Ms. Jessica Avila.
From June 5 to 14, 2014, relive Philippine History with Café Marco’s Culinary Journeys: Comida de Independencia. Enjoy a buffet spread of special dishes which were served to celebrate the Declaration of Independence in 1898 at the residence of General Emilio Aguinaldo in Cavite. Dishes such as Bringhe, Poke-Poki, Chicken Adobo Terrine, Native Chicken Karahay and Gorgoria will be served on top of your favorite international buffet. Lunch buffet is at P1,099 and dinner buffet is at P1345. On Sunday, lunch and dinner are both priced at P1345.
The Sweet Station is loaded with local favourites such as torta, pastillas de leche, coconut macarons, cassava cake, pineapple upside down cake, panna cotta, and the sought after halo halo has its own station. Get to taste Pan de Coco, Spanish Bread, Ube and Mongo Hopia at the bread station.
Drop by Los Primos Cigar which is on display at the Grand Lobby, it features an exhibition of the authentic hand rolling technique of fine Philippine cigars.
