Getting an invite for Sweet Summer Nights was something I really looked forward to. It would mean "heaven" for a night. Getting to taste all those scrumptious creations by Chef Adam Schihab, who is also AVP for Operations for Waterfront Food Concepts, would make any night a worthwhile night to remember.

Dinner was taken cared of by Mizu. We had a taste of the Bento Box Lunch Craze. Japanese food cravings are satisfied with three bento box options: Tonkatsu, Hambago & Karaage. Tonkatsu (Breaded Pork) Bento has shidomaki (steamed chicken meat and shrimp rolled in abura age), kani salad (kani stick, kyuri, Japanese mayo and ebiko) and Tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet with katsu sauce). Hambago (burger) Bento has shidomaki, kani salad and Hambago (pan-grilled beef patties). Karaage (fried chicken) Bento has shidomaki, potato salad (mashed potato, boiled egg, carrots with Kenko mayo) and Chicken Karaage (deep fried chicken cutlet). The Bento Box includes Japanese rice, miso soup and a slice of fresh pineapple and watermelon.
Amazing desserts followed after dinner and my palate was introduced to a burst of flavors brought about by the fresh ingredients, the berries (blueberry and raspberry) were all imported from Europe. The green tea chocolate cake blew my mind. I love green tea and chocolate cake, both combined made it an awesome dessert. The green tea flavor combined perfectly with the chocolate cake, a healthy dessert if you think of it. All of the desserts were spectacular, from how it looks to how it tastes like.
Must try pastries: French macarons, Raspberry trifle, Blueberry Posset, Green Tea Chocolate Cake, Chocolate tartlets and Banoffee Opera.
