Last October 3, 2013, Hukad opened its doors to the dining public at their newest branch at the Parkmall. The grand opening was graced by the presence of Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes and Mandaue City Councilor Emmarie "Lollipop" Ouano-Dizon. This is the second branch that bears the hukad name.
Celebrating over 30 years of Cebuano flavor, value and hospitality, Hukad sa Golden Cowrie and Golden Cowrie Filipino Restaurant now have seven (7) branches in Cebu and 16 nationwide with the opening of its Parkmall branch, wherein 9 are franchised and 7 branches are family-owned.

The staple in all of the branches is their unlimited Plain rice. New in the menu are: Brown rice puso & red rice puso which are both served at their A.S. Fortuna kiosk.
