This holiday season, Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu, invites everyone to be part of the heartfelt Boxes of Hope initiative. Your contributions will directly support the educational and nutritional needs of students at Punta Engaño Elementary School, making a significant impact on their lives and nurturing community growth.
In gratitude for your generosity, you will receive a handcrafted paper ornament or a small gift card, made with appreciation by the children you are aiding, to inspire pride in your contribution.
1. CHOOSE YOUR BOX OF HOPE
Each of our three boxes addresses a distinct need:
- The Learning Box: Support young learners with key school supplies.
- The Joy Box: Spread happiness with toys and books that ignite imagination.
- The Creativity Box: Encourage future artists with art kits and craft materials.
2. CHOOSE YOUR GIFT OF HOPE
By giving, you will receive a special token of thanks, created by the students from recycled paper.
- Spark of Hope (PHP 100 - PHP 499): A handmade paper heart tag.
- Gift of Joy (PHP 500 - PHP 999): A unique handmade paper ornament along with a thank-you note.
- Treasure of Kindness (PHP 1,000 and above): A personalized paper star ornament and a printed Certificate of Kindness.
3. DISPLAY YOUR GRATITUDE
Hang your ornament on our Tree of Hope at the CSR Booth located at the lobby from November 25, 2025, to December 31, 2025, and witness the growth of the community's kindness. Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu, will distribute the gifts to Punta Engaño School on December 15, 2025.
About the Ornaments
These lovely tokens are crafted through a unique art workshop in partnership with the University of San Carlos and the students of Punta Engaño Elementary School, where recycled hotel paper is transformed into new creations. This initiative promotes sustainability while celebrating children's creativity.
