Christmas trees are an essential part during this holiday season. Each and every tree that is lighted up has a story behind it. Be it a different place or in each and every home, Christmas trees have different themes depending on the artistic, creative or imaginative nature of the person doing the decorating.
Various establishments here in the City have lighted up their trees and each tree has a story behind it.
Cebu Parklane and The Santa Claus Factory Christmas Tree
We celebrate the most important season of the year with high spirits, wonderful colors and optimism, all wrapped in one with love and happiness. With the toys around the Christmas Tree, we marvel like a kid as we turn into one of the best fantasies we’ve ever head growing up- The Santa Claus Factory.
Not just an ordinary Christmas Tree filled with toys, such toys will surely enchant each child’s heart as we give them to a beneficiary after the Christmas season through The Freeman Foundation.

The story of "The Nutcracker", performed by Cebu Center for Dance ballerinas, entertained the guests that filled the hotel lobby as they wait for the official lighting of the Tree of Hope. Proceeds from the Christmas balls donation will go to the Kapuso Foundation beneficiaries.
GILT and the Havaianas tree
It started as a brainstorm between Lani, April and Jay- to put up a tree that's funky, a good representation of Christmas in the Philippines while keeping in mind GILT's whimsy. They asked Havaianas if they would be willing to lend them pairs of silver and white . Thankfully they were very game with the idea. The GILT team were so excited they ended up thinking, "Let's have a launch!" More ideas flowed and they thought because of the whimsy of the tree, they'll have a toy drive for the children of the Gawad Kalinga Child and Youth Development Program using the kindness and generosity of our regular customers' children.
