The company started in 1963 in Southern California. They began expanding in the 1990s. A passion to deliver the flavors of the world’s best coffees and teas is what drives them.
CBTL only selects the top 1% of specialty-grade Arabica beans to craft the best coffee. It offers light and subtle coffee cultivated from Brazil. They also offer medium and smooth coffee cultivated from Kenya. Dark and distinctive coffee cultivated from Venice is also a part of their menu. It is house-blended. It has a bold flavor with nuances of chocolate.
When it comes to tea, CBTL selects the top two leaves and a bud of the finest whole leaf teas. A variety of tea cupping is available. There are herbal infusions, green tea, and black tea.
The company also takes pride in their efforts to give back to the community. They have direct relationships with growers and individual farms and estates. They have local housing projects. They also raise education and community awareness through their Caring Cup programs.
The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf first opened in Greenbelt in 2003. Today, there are over 131 stores nationwide. To celebrate #15YearsofYouandMe, they brought back their Mondays Made Better promo. Guests can enjoy their favorite drinks or try new flavors every Monday for only Php100. This promo runs until the 30th of July.
