The Tactical, Survival & Arms (TACS) Expo 2018, the only comprehensive defense, security, and survival show in the Philippines, heads to Cebu for the first time this June 15–18, 2018 at the Cebu Trade Hall of SM City Cebu.
This year’s TACS Expo is organized by ARMSCOR Global Defense, Inc., and made possible with the cooperation of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), the Philippine National Police (PNP), Office of Civil Defense (OCD) and companies in the security and defense industry. With the theme, “Defense, Security and Survival for Sustainable Living,” the show seeks to arm everyone with the equipment, knowledge, and skills to handle various situations, both natural and man-made.
There will be over 20 exhibitors selling firearms, tactical, and outdoor gears at discounted prices. Also on display are ammunition, medical equipment, rifle scopes and sights, military accessories, ammo reloading components, knives and more.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) will also have a booth to aid people in processing their License to Own and Possess Firearm (LTOPF), which is a requirement prior to purchase.
A series of lectures will be conducted by experts in the fields of security, defense, and survival. These include “Improvised Rescue Techniques Using Common Household Materials” by Joebert Tolentino of the Disaster and Emergency Responders International - Community Emergency Response Team (DERIN-CERT) on June 15 at 2:00 p.m., “Ready 101: Family Preparedness” by Emergency Management Consultant, Martin Aguda on June 15 at 5:00 p.m., June 16 at 2:00 p.m., and on June 17 at 10:00 a.m. “Bleeding Control Using Hemostatic Agents” by Benedict de Borja of the Pateros Filipino-Chinese Volunteer Fire and Rescue Brigade, Inc., on June 16 and 17 at 5:00 p.m., and more.
