The Christmas tree lighting and the unveiling of Christmas Village of Hope was held at the North Wing Atrium. The SM Philharmonic serenaded the crowd with popular songs from classic Disney movies. The Mandaue Children and Youth Chorus showcased their talent with Let It Go and Light of a Million Mornings.
SM Cebu invites guests to share in the fun of the exciting services the mall has to offer, including the return of the annual Bears of Joy. For 200 pesos, shoppers can buy two bears, one to keep while the other will be donated to the mall’s chosen foundation.
The Christmas Village of Hope was also launched. This is an annual fund-raising activity spearheaded by Clayton and Joji Tugonon for the benefit of the Kythe Foundation, Inc. Kythe is a non-profit, non-stock organization aimed towards improving the quality of life among hospitalized children with cancer and other chronic illness.
