Face-Off #OOTD, the annual banner fashion show by Inquirer Lifestyle, held its tenth installment at SM Seaside City Cebu last Sept. 27. Co-presented by Vivo Smart Phone and Cebu Daily News, Swatch, and Converse the fabulous show featured the works of 15 renowned names of Cebu’s fashion industry.
Of course, a great event needs equally great hosts. Event hosts were Luis Manzano and Cebuano actor and tri-athlete Matteo Gudicelli.
This year’s designer line-up were Edwin Ao, Mia Arcenas, Albert Arriba, Protacio Empaces, Jun Escario, Rei Escario, Arcy Gayatin, Oj Hofer, Dino Lloren, Jul Oliva, Yvonne Quisumbing, Philip Rodriguez, Cary Santiago, Philipp Tampus, and Mike Yapching.
Local Cebuano personalities including DJ and tattoo hobbyist Divine Maitland-Smith, musician Lourdes Maglinte, Mutya ng Pilipinas-Asia Pacific International 2017 winner Ilene Astrid De Vera, TV host Blinky De Leon, and lawyer and Mandaue City treasurer Regal Oliva rocked the runway to showcase the beautiful creations of the featured designers while sporting Converse All Star Chuck Taylor white kicks and select Swatch timepieces.
It was a night filled with glamour and style. The event gathered fashion enthusiasts marvelling at the promising direction of Philippine #OOTDs in the hands of talented Cebuano designers.
