The city's culinary scene just got more exciting with the latest addition, the Weekend. Weekend is a new restaurant that offers handpicked dishes from around the world.
Foodie or not, Weekend's menu doesn't need figuring out. If you are looking for a tender and mouth-watering juicy meat, try Weekend's The Fat Bastard. If you are craving for steak, the Weekend's flavourful Rib-Eye is just perfect.
Another must-try is the Buffalo Cauliflower with celery sticks and Gorgonzola cheese dip. You can't pass up on the Big Mussels, too. It is a heavenly feast of Chilean mussels with garlic, fennel, roast pepper, bacon bits, and garlic toast.
Weekend is not just your go-to for excellent food choices because it also serves an extensive collection of craft beers. Yeah, that's right! A collection of craft beers. Weekend brings Cebu's first 16-tap nitro draft system from Cebu's best craft breweries - Turning Wheels and Cebu Brewing Co.
"The nitro system mixes Co2 and Nitrogen gas to maintain the beer's propoer carbonation, preventing the beers from going flat or going wild, and reducing foaming problems due to temperature fluctuations" explains Jan Rodriguez.
"Beer kegs are also stored in the walk-in chiller just behind the bar, maintaining an optimal temperature for ales" he added. Weekend knows their beer well and it’s just perfect. They also have a well-curated variety of whisky, gin, and mezcal.
So anytime you want to have good food and a drink, you don't have to wait for that elusive weekend to come, just head out to Weekend.
